Last Thursday Johno informed the club that he will be stepping down from coaching as he has recently changed jobs to a more senior role. This is obviously disappointing and Johno by know means took the discussion lightly.

Due to the need to start planning for next season we have reacted quickly, and I am very pleased to say that after conversations with Lou, that Briden has accepted the role as Senior’s Forward Coach, and Lou will now be Head Coach.

This doesn’t leave the colts in the lurch, as Ben Horsford is going to step up to Head up the Colts, and Chris Stafford will now be the colts assistant coach giving the colts a strong set up. Which was part of our future planning anyway.

I am personally very excited about working with Briden and Lou again this season, and with Deano helping with the 2’s, it promises to be a great time for KRFC.

We hope to see Johno down to help with some preseason and wish him the best in his new job.
